Team Profile

 Mindy Ziffren- Hall                   Cat 1

Mindy Ziffren-Hall is a founding member of Team Group Health and has been racing for six seasons. Mindy is considered a sprinter on the road but has proven herself victorious on many courses over varied terrain. Mindy was part of the 2005 Washington State Best All Around Road Team for cat 1-3’s and is the 2005 Washington State Criterium Champion. Mindy’s primary goal with the team is to mentor other riders. A little known fact about Mindy is that she once was the Indiana State Fair Mascot…don’t ask what the mascot costume was because she won’t tell!

Kristi Berg

Cat 2

Kristi has been racing on the road for 3 seasons, 2 with Team Group Health. Major accomplishments include winning the Cat 3 NWWC Series in 2004, upgrading to Cat2 and racing in the San Fransico Grand Prix. Kristi's favorite thing to do on the road is working to help the team achieve a win, and she has one of the team's youngest (& loudest) supporters in son Holden!

 Lisa Dunnwald

Cat 2

Lisa has been racing since 2002 with her results improving every year. In 2004 Lisa participated in the T- Mobile International Race 2004, and in 2005 took her racing to another level with a top 20 placing in the Mt Hood Cycling Classic (NRC) race, and winning the WA Masters State Road Race. Her success has continued in 2006 with strong performances at the Methow Valley Stage Race, State Road Race Championships, and most recently, winning the GC at the Washington State Omnium Championships.

Jadine Riley

Cat 2

Jadine began racing in 2001 and upgraded to Cat 3 in 2003. A regular racer in all disciplines (road, track, mountain, and cyclocross), Jadine has finished in the top 5 of the NWWC Cat 3 series two years in a row, and was the winner of the 2005 Redmond Derby Days Criterium

Dana Robertson-Halter

Cat 3

Dana Robertson Halter discovered cycling after racing for eight years as an elite triathlete. She joined Team Group Health in 2003, fell in love with the camaraderie and competition of bike racing, and has no plans to return to multi-sport events (unless it's a stage race!) Dana raced for a year as a Cat 4, winning the Seward Park Season End Classic in 2004 and finishing second at Mason Lake #3, the Snohomish Road Race, and the State Road Race Championships in 2005. After upgrading to a Category 3 racer in June of 2005, Dana finished consistently in the top ten in the Pro 1/2/3 fields. She's looking forward to working with her teammates for an exciting - and successful - 2006 racing season.

Tricia Sandstrom

Cat 3

Tricia came to Team Group Health in 2004 with a background in running and triathlon. Once cycling racing season started, she was hooked and never looked back.  2005 brought fifteen top 5 race finishes for Tricia's Category 4 debut, along with the Cat 4 NWWC Championship. She upgraded to a Cat 3 in early-season 2006, and is dedicated to work hard to contribute to the continued success of the team.
